IF YOU have any questions, we are more than happy to answer them!
Q. I'm really nervous about doing a boudoir session. Is that normal?
A. Yes, It's normal to be nervous for your boudoir session, and you are definitely not alone! Most of our clients are a little nervous at the beginning of the session, but after a couple of minutes, everyone loosens up and has fun! During the session, we'll make a playlist of some of your favorite songs to get you into the groove.
Q. What are your rates? How much do you charge for a boudoir session?
A. The session fee for 60 minute boudoir session is $299 and the session fee for a 90 minute boudoir session is $499. Moving forward, we know that every woman wants different items to commemorate her boudoir photo session, and we offer prints, albums, and even digital albums. Our clients typically spend anywhere between $850 to $3,000 after each photo shoot.
Q. I don't know how to pose! I'm worried about looking awkward. Can you help me with posing?
A. Of course! We understand that our clients are not high-fashion models, and it's OK if you don't know a thing about posing. We've thoroughly educated ourselves on how to pose bodies of every shape and size. In other words, don't worry about posing! We've got you covered in that department. During the shoot, we'll guide you on how to pose, and we'll let you know what looks good, and what doesn't!
Q. Am I allowed to bring alcohol or wine to help loosen my nerves?
A. As long as you're over 21, that's fine with us! We do offer mimosas during your session to help you relax. However, we ask that you responsibly enjoy your libations. We are not responsible if you cannot handle your alcohol. Moving forward, we will end the session and kindly ask you to get dressed and sober up if alcohol consumption becomes problematic.
Q. Do you provide the wardrobe?
A. Yes! We have a fantastic selection of fashionable & trendy lingerie that features sizes and styles for every woman. Our lingerie pieces range from XS to 5XL! That said, items in our closet worn for boudoir sessions must be purchased. Due to hygienic reasons, we do not allow clients to borrow lingerie pieces in our wardrobe for a boudoir session.
Q. I want to share these pictures, but I don't want loose prints floating around. What can I do?
A. This is an extremely common concern for our clients, and we totally understand! Privacy is everything. With that said, we recommend placing an order for our little black book. Our little black books are albums that discreetly keep all of your images in one place. For more information about our little black books, please don't hesitate to contact us!
Q. What should I bring to my boudoir session?
A. You are more than welcome to bring lingerie and props. While we have a closet that's full of beautiful lingerie for women of all shapes and sizes, we totally understand if you want to bring something of your own. Many ladies will bring their partner's t-shirts, comfy sweaters, or even suitcases of lingerie that they've collected over the years. With that said, anything that you bring is totally fine with us, and we also suggest that you bring everything with you just in case!
Q. Can I bring a friend?
Yes! We encourage you to bring a friend. Friends tend to bring extra encouragement to the photo shoot! However, sometimes an extra set of eyes during the photo shoot has the opposite effect. Nonetheless, friends are more than welcome to come, but if they are making you uncomfortable or interning with the session, then they may have to wait out in the lobby, or another room.
Q. Will my boudoir session be with a male or female photographer?
We are an all-female owned and operated mobile boudoir studio, and your photographer will always be a female. Most importantly, our team is composed of trusted, talented, and respected professionals in the industry.
Q. Do you do retouch your photos?
A. Yes! We professionally retouch your photos. In general, we will remove blemishes and smooth your skin. However, we will not make any drastic changing to your photos.
Q. I'm not a model, and I'm wondering if I'm "cut out" to do a boudoir session!
A. No woman on this earth has a "perfect" body. Many of the photos that we see in magazines or online are retouched to a certain degree. Most importantly, please understand that there is no requirement to feel like a model and feel sexy. Boudoir photography is all about learning to accept, love, and embrace your fabulous body! So no, you don't have to be a model to do this!
Q. Do you do outdoor boudoir sessions?
A. We currently do not have our own outdoor location, but if you have some private land, let us know, and we'll set something up. Moving forward, outdoor boudoir sessions must be in a secluded area so that nobody can see us during the session. We do this to protect you and our company.
Q. Do I have control over who sees my images?
A. Absolutely! We will only share photos if you have given us explicit permission through a signed model release and have approved the images for sharing. We will always respect your wishes, and we won't post or share any photos if you'd prefer they stay private. Many of our clients work professional jobs that are in the public sphere, so we would never want to jeopardize our client's careers or their peace of mind.
